I’ve been dying to order from the Korean brand, Storets, for about a year or two now. I thought this social distancing period was a perfect opportunity to finally try out some new brands and distract myself online shopping.
I first discovered Storets on Instagram from other fashion bloggers I follow, and I was always interested in trying it out for myself because it seemed a little bit edgier. As you can probably tell, I love taking fashion risks. I feel like Storets balances current style trends with more experimental designs. In my opinion, it’s the perfect place to shop if you are looking for something unique but not too extreme.
As I was putting together this post, I did more research on the brand and discovered that it actually supports local Korean designers. The styles represented on the site are a mix of their house line and designs purchased from independent designers in South Korea. The price point is still in more manageable price point for me, and I love that it doesn’t contribute to the fast fashion culture that feels so prevalent today.
So why should you order from Storets? We’ve all had that feeling of walking into a room and seeing someone wearing the *same* Zara/Nordstrom look so this is another brand to have up your sleeve that will help you stand out from the crowd. Additionally, they have fast and reliable shipping (I switched the address I needed it shipped to with no issues!). The only downside is that it does cost $5 to return so let me know if you have questions about sizing! Most of my items fit true to size but I had some issues with one of the bottoms I ordered. My favorite pieces were the yellow cardigan set, white oxford dress and gray knit vest.
Let me know if you decide to try out Storets!
