Ready for Fall?
My first month in New York can be summarized in one word, sweaty. The humidity on the East Coast is no joke. It’s hard for me to believe that I grew up with such hot and humid summers in Nashville since I’ve been basking in temperate San Francisco for the last 3 years. It makes me think that my time on the West Coast might have made me soft. With that being said, I am SO ready for fall to arrive. The fashion, weather, and activities (hello NYFW) make fall my absolute favorite season (sorry summer lovers!).
I’ve been dying to transition my wardrobe from lightweight clothing to jackets, layers and more fun textures. However, it is still August and we still have some hot days on our horizon so this post is all about pieces to transition you from Summer to Spring.
I found two dresses that are breathable enough to keep you from sweating all day but also add a bit more length and weight than typical summer styles. I’m still focused on summery citrus colors, for this case pink and yellow, and soaking up my last chance to feel like I’m actually in Positano instead of commuting to work daily.
